So Yoon Ahn is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), specializing in labor, family, and gender economics. Her research explores topics such as the gender wage gap, bargaining power within households, and the economic implications of cross-border marriage. She has published work in top journals, including the Journal of Political Economy and Journal of Population Economics.
