Abstract

Creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship are three interconnected pillars that drive sustainable social and economic development. Creativity begins with the ability to think beyond conventional boundaries, generate original ideas, and identify novel solutions to existing challenges. However, ideas alone cannot create impact unless they are transformed into practical applications through innovation. Innovation bridges the gap between imagination and implementation by converting creative concepts into viable products, technologies, or services that address real-world needs. Entrepreneurship completes this journey by organizing resources, managing risks, and delivering innovative solutions to society through sustainable business models. The foundation of every successful entrepreneurial venture lies in identifying a genuine societal problem. Recognizing unmet needs, understanding their root causes, and evaluating their significance enable students and researchers to develop solutions that are relevant, impactful, and scalable. This problem-centric approach ensures that research outcomes translate into meaningful innovations capable of improving quality of life while generating economic value. Students can begin their entrepreneurial journey by following ten essential principles: discovering their passion and purpose, identifying problems and designing solutions, building prototypes, acquiring business knowledge, forming multidisciplinary teams, engaging with mentors and innovation ecosystems, managing time effectively, exploring funding opportunities, learning from failures, and continuously scaling successful innovations. These steps encourage a mindset of resilience, collaboration, and lifelong learning. By integrating creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship with research and societal needs, students can transform academic knowledge into impactful enterprises. Such an approach not only nurtures future innovators and job creators but also contributes to national development, technological advancement, and the achievement of sustainable development goals through socially relevant and commercially viable innovations.
